Inlet’s Frozen Fire and Lights

February 2024

At Fern Park, there will be FREE sledding, ice skating, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing all day. Join the competition with cardboard sled races and outhouse races, and then design and fly kites. Finally, meet at the bonfire with free hot dogs and the best winter fireworks!

Black Fly Challenge

June 8, 2024

The Black Fly Challenge is a legendary Adirondack bike race held annually on the second Saturday in June. Held alternately each year in either Indian Lake or Inlet, the 40-mile gravel grinder passes through the Adirondack backcountry, traversing the rugged Moose River Plains and continuing along waterways, dirt paths, and rugged trails through dense forest.

The Great Adirondack Garage Sale

May 24 - 26, 2024

Remember that saying “Someone’s trash is someone else’s treasure?” Well with over 200+ miles of garage sales there are many treasures to behold from Old Forge to Eagle Bay, to Big Moose, to Inlet, to Raquette Lake and beyond. With offerings of vintage antiques, rustic furniture, jewelry, kitchen items, toys, clothing and more -- there is always something for everyone.

Bring a chair or a blanket and enjoy a great concert while watching one of the most spectacular sunsets in the Adirondack Park at Arrowhead Park. There are different artists every week! Rain location is located under the pavilion in Fern Park, on South Shore Road. Inlet's concert series is brought to you by the Town of Inlet.

Fourth of July Family Games

Head to Fern Park where your family can participate in some fun games such as water balloon toss, egg toss, sack race and more! Refreshments will be served, there is a scavenger hunt around the Park and there are prizes to be won!

Fourth of July Fireworks

July 4, 2024

Watch a beautiful firework display in Inlet, set off on barges in Fourth Lake! You can watch at Arrowhead Park, the Boat Launch, or any lodging place on the water where you are guests (including Nelson’s Cottages!)

Inlet’s Arts in the Park

July 20 and 21, 2024

The town of Inlet will hold the 46th annual "Arts in the Park" A variety of vendors will offer their handmade products in Arrowhead Park. They will offer maple products, jams, grilling rubs, pet treats, hot sauce, cloth face masks, soaps, floral designs, jewelry, photography, handmade knives, and more.

An Evening with the Symphony

July 26, 2024

Enjoy a free Children’s Concert in Arrowhead Park, then head to the Wood’s Inn for a cocktail party and finally back to Arrowhead Park for a performance by the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra. Tickets are required for the cocktail party and for the Philharmonic performance.

Inlet Classic Car Cruise and Show

Looking for a free, fun event and support the Inlet Historical Society at the same time? Well, come visit the Car Show in Arrowhead Park! There is food, contests, raffles and prizes! All donations and proceeds benefit the Inlet Historical Society!

Vendors will offer a multitude of products in Fern Park including rustic furniture, clothing, jams, candles, photography, stoneware, jewelry, and much more!
